It’s Our Future Calling
By now you know that fear makes a mind less able to assimilate new information. You know that those who listen to fear mongers end up arguing with their neighbors and criticizing their family and friends. At this point you know that fear causes very well intentioned people to shut down their minds to the world. By now you are tired of fear and yet you are compelled by it too, because there are some serious problems taking over our normal routines.
Our everyday world is changing because our biosphere is changing. We as inhabitants of this planet are swimming in the chaos of wanting to adapt but not knowing how to make changes that matter. First we change our language, then we change our approaches but lastly we feel we can not truly change with dominant systems that will not follow.
The dictatorship of fear is real and it is global. The liberation of love is also real and very much global. The next year of 2020 is going to be a struggle between those two streams of fear and love. Of course, this is the struggle of the ages, but in 2020 the battle between stagnation and evolution, between death cults and life cults is going to have a particular set of players, parameters and shall we say, flavors. Whatever your role and passions you will be playing a part in this epic story of 2020.
The past is calling again and it is looking for justice, compassion and ingenuity. The old hurts are calling for trust in the greater goodness of people. The old ways are also calling for reforms they never imagined in the past: for ways past ageless blocks that come with state of the art controls. This is your chance to hack the fear and come out the other side sure of your power to heal, hold space and to generate power for yourself and for others. This is the decade for enlightened self-interest. This is the first year of the Great ReGeneration.
Let go and let yourself sink into the truth that there is no right or wrong way to love. Let go and let yourself feel that peace and use it as a sensor to make your decisions. The most powerful tool of control is fear. The most powerful tool of liberation is presence. Be present with yourself and be present with others. Open your mind to subtleties so you can read the headlines and the subtext correctly. Let yourself trust in the future while building it with a joy most likely sobered by loss and struggle.
The signs ahead say this is going to be a year of heavy lifting, of struggles between those who want to love, and those who want others to fear them. Let yourself be calm. Let yourself hear the call that you are never small when you have strength and hope enough to take action. You are the hack of the world. May your small actions become a sea change of love.
